Adriana's eyes darken with regret, cursing the years squandered on a backstabbing bitch who shattered her trust—time stolen that could've burned in wild, forbidden arms. Then, like a specter, Charlene materializes at the glass, fists hammering, screeching that Adriana's the irrational slut.
