CUT TO: Jeff (Jake Adams), sweat beading on his brow, grips the wheel in his idling sedan, eyes flicking to the dashboard clock. Shadows from airport lights slice across his tense face. His cell buzzes—speaker on. 'Hey, man,' he mutters. 'Little bro,' Bobby fires back. 'Grabbed her yet?' Jeff shifts, uneasy. 'Airport lot now. Plane's down, customs holding her up.' Bobby chuckles darkly. 'If she clears—hell, what contraband's she smuggling?' 'Not funny,' Jeff snaps, jaw tight. 'Ease off the jabs. I know you're skeptical, but—' 'Skeptical? She's a goddamn mail-order import!' Bobby cuts in, voice laced with dread. Jeff exhales sharply. 'We've hashed this endless. Twenty-two, small-town innocent, first flight ever. Chasing dreams. I can deliver the dream—stability, security.' 'Connection, huh?' Bobby scoffs. 'Pixels and airwaves make liars of us all from across oceans.' Jeff's fingers drum. 'Dad's windfall? Yeah, it paints targets. But she's no shark circling the cash.' Tension coils in the humid air, Jeff's pulse racing against the unknown bride waiting in the wings.
